Your foot shape is completely unique... but
with the help of Formthotics, you can custom fit your ski and snowboard
boots to your feet in 6 easy steps.
|
 |
1. Remove the innerboots from the outer boots. Then, remove the existing insoles from the innerboots. |
 |
2. If the Formthotics are too long, use the old insoles as a guide to trim the Formthotics to size. Warning: Don’t trim them to short!
|
 |
3. Place Formthotics inside your innerboots. The
Formthotics should sit flat and fit firmly inside your the
innerboots. Then replace the innerboots back inside your outer boots |
 |
4. Heat the Formthotics using a
hairdryer. (Our stockists use a special heating machine) Move the
hairdryer from one shoe to the other every 45 - 60 seconds to
prevent too much build-up of heat inside the boots. Heat both
Formthotics for exactly 5 minutes each (10 minutes total). |
 |
5. Put your boots on straight away and quickly do the boots up so your foot is held firmly. As the Formthotics will be very warm, it is advisable to wear socks. |
 |
6. Stand with knees bent, your legs shoulder width apart and toes pointing straight ahead for two minutes. As a guide for correct position, your knee cap should be directly over the top of your second toe. |
You now have your very own custom fitted boots, thanks to you and Formthotics!
Please note:
Your body may need to adjust to this new level of support. It normally
takes about three days for your feet to get used to the feel and fit of
Formthotics. |
