For Problem Feet!

Medical Formthotics
The medical range of Formthotics is used by health professionals around the world to treat a diverse range of foot and leg problems including heel pain, shin splints, knee pain and Achilles Tendon Injuries.

Like most great inventions, the discovery of Formthotics was very simple. A doctor was thinking about the problem of foot and lower leg injuries as he strolled along the beach one day. He noticed his footprints in the sand and realised that most modern surfaces, such as concrete and asphalt are hard and flat and force our feet to twist and flatten causing pain and discomfort. But soft surfaces such as sand conform to the shape and curve of our feet. He decided that if he made a special insole that could be customised to the exact shape of his patients’ footprint right inside their shoes, he would be able to fix many of his patient’s foot and lower leg problems.

The medical range of Formthotics has been developed to put your natural footprint back inside your shoes. They provide long term comfort and reduce fatigue by supporting your whole foot and redistributing weight and pressure evenly. Their shock absorbency and stability allows your body to function the way it was designed to.

To make it easy for your foot health professional to identify the correct model Formthotic to suit your foot problem, body weight and level of activity, we have categorised our medical Formthotics into two product ranges - Formthotics Classic and Formthotics Select.
