Come on up for some great winter skiing

The bluebird weekend has been followed by some unsettled weather today with a top up of snowfall on the upper mountain (5-7cm).
The Saddle Basin is where it's all at with great skiing and riding for all levels both on and off piste top to bottom, so make your way across the Saddle Track and set yourself up to have some fun.
The Metservice forecast suggests we keep those winter woollies handy. They predict cooler temperatures with the freezing level dropping below the base building and more snow fall expected later this week.

Kiwis take on the Aussies at Treble Cone

This Thursday and Friday 30th and 31st will see elite skiers from Australia, New Zealand, Asia and Europe come to TC to compete in the Mapei ANC Continental Cup.
The Cup is an officially sanctioned FIS (Fédération Internationale de Ski) event with Giant Slalom and Slalom categories held over two days.
This race is tipped to host not only the cream of the New Zealand and Australian ski teams, but also highly ranked international athletes.

Masters of the Mountain

Lords and ladies of the lycra will take to the hill to kick off spring this year. The Swift Coffee Time Ski Masters racing event to be held on 1 and 2 September is open to everyone over 30 who likes to race. The weekend provides a full event proudly sponsored by Volkl and Amisfield with Slalom and Giant Slalom ski racing and a social cocktail evening thrown in!

Speights keeps veins pumping in Village Series

The third Speights Village Series ran last Sunday with beautiful snow conditions on the 'highly acclaimed' Big Skite race course.
Last weeks' field of skiers were joined by a lone snowboarder and together they battled each other for the best crash, fastest times and fabulous prizes from Speights and Racers Edge, including a pair of Head Mojo twin tips still up for grabs in the grand final.
