Update from Foot Science International on COVID-19 at Level 4
Our thoughts go out to all of you who have been affected by the impact of COVID-19. We hope you, your family, friends and staff, are all safe and well.
As New Zealand moves into Level 4 at midnight tonight, our primary concern at Foot Science International is to ensure the safety and health of our team, thankfully all of Foot Science International’s staff are currently safe and well. This is an unprecedented position for New Zealand, and the world in general, so we appreciate your support and understanding as this situation develops.
New Zealand's strategy has been to respond relatively early, and with aggressive measures, with the intent to isolate and manage the early cases – our sincere hope is this will limit the spread of the virus and allow our country to recover relatively quickly. Please listen to the Government’s guidance and stay within your ‘bubble’ of people, and encourage your family, whanau and friends to do the same.
Foot Science International’s company values include Manaakitanga, the Maori concept of kindness, generosity and support for others. This concept is particularly important for all of us as we head into Level 4 tonight - the only way through this, for all of us, is to support each other as a global community, and each take personal responsibility for the health and well-being of those around us.
As circumstances continue to evolve, we will communicate any changes and updates to you. If you have any concerns or questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the team at Foot Science International.
Update from Foot Science International on COVID-19
Our thoughts go out to everyone who has been affected by the impact of COVID-19. We hope you, your family and friends, are all safe and well.
We are closely monitoring the situation around-the-clock, and while these are very challenging times for everyone, please know that Foot Science International is in good shape, our staff are all well, and your orders will continue to be manufactured and processed as usual.
Like other businesses tackling this issue, we are being guided by our Ministry of Health which recommends regular cleaning and hygiene practices as the most important preventative measures we can take and as such we will continue our vigorous processes and procedures in these areas.
As circumstances continue to develop, one thing will remain the same: We will make our decisions with the health, safety and well-being of our customers, team members and communities as our highest priority.
Over the coming weeks we will continue to monitor the evolving situation and act quickly on the advice of health authorities. While being very pragmatic about the risks, as a team we are staying positive and knowing that we need to do all we can to stay healthy and support each other as a community.
If you have any concerns or questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the team at Foot Science International.
Best wishes,
Greg Thompson
CEO
